As you walk, you talk, Of the events, within your head, All the things on your mind, I hear and study your thoughts,
You stop, and turn around, As if u could feel my presence My eyes pierce your soul, You turn and carry on,
You reach your door, But do not enter your home, You sit on your porch, And talk and cry,
I stand right next to you, Wanting to touch you,
To feel the warmth of your skin,

you sit on the steps, staring into night, never knowing that i'm there, watching, wanting to be there beside you, always wanting, never having.
you stand and walk on home,
I follow in the shadows, not so i am not seen,
but because i cannot exist in the light.
i can never be there for you, for no one, i cannot walk down the road holding you hand on a warm summers day. i can never be with you, and you will never see me.
